Not everyone is keen on serving others. Certainly few people excel at it…Wendy does. She began her working life, after graduating from Fanshawe College with a Tourism and Travel Counsellor Diploma, in Toronto with a wholesale travel company, and Air Ontario. Moving people from one destination to another providing excellent customer service and keeping them happy!

Eventually Wendy’s passion for providing the ultimate in customer service was spotted by a successful entrepreneur, and Wendy was offered the opportunity to manage one of Ontario’s finest Inn’s at the time, Eganridge Inn and Country Club in the Kawartha Lakes. After 13 years of serving as manager Wendy moved on.

She met and married Steve Nicholson, in IT with Crayola in Lindsay. They bought the little white house with the barn in the back and fruit trees on the front lawn and started a family. Today Emma is 16 and the Bobcaygeon Fair Ambassador and Alec is 14, both attending I. E. Weldon Secondary School in Lindsay. Wendy enriched her family life with a Moms and Tots group in her home and embarked on a career in retail with Sherry Peel at Bigley’s, again providing top-notch customer service, training staff, managing, and selling the odd pair of shoes. Eventually she was scooped up to begin managing the Kawartha Total Foot Care clinic.

It was a natural progression for Wendy to Real Estate. Wendy brings to the industry a strong sense of wanting to serve and help others. To put people in the right home for them and do it well, with integrity and awareness of her clients’ needs. Wendy has a love for small town living…being part of a community and giving back is one of her things. She is not only kind, gentle, and joyful; Wendy has a keen passion for making a difference. Eager to learn, ready to apply her knowledge and driven to succeed.

Wendy is excited both to be part of the SAGE Real Estate and to be joining Ted Johnston as his partner in serving their clients, whether it’s with a business start up, cottage, condo or home. Wendy believes that together they can make a positive difference in both in how business is done and how clients’ needs are met.
